ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT - Developing human resources and improving teams

PerfOps projects create sustainable change.  Such change typically involves development to a client’s teams, and sometimes to organizational structures.  We may be addressing structures which were more appropriate for previous technologies or business environments.  Optimal solutions benefit from simplified organizational structures, thereby increasing thruput and quality with reduced operating staffs.

EVALUATING TECHNOLOGY & OPERATIONS STRUCTURES

PerfOps is often called in to provide assessments of an organizational structure, or a team’s readiness for a technology or operations improvement. Our proficiency in organizational development is optimized on technology projects and operations initiatives.  PerfOps assesses how an organizational structure will enhance or impede the successful implementation of a technology project or operations initiative. We also evaluate how current structures are set up to sustain new technology or operations improvements.  We may also be able to help with larger organizational development needs, but most often this is after we gain a deeper understanding of the business by working with a client team for some time. PerfOps can define short and long term staffing needs and help HR teams to find and evaluate new resources.

LEADERSHIP COACHING & DEVELOPMENT

PerfOps maintains proficiencies in leadership development for all levels within operations teams.  PerfOps is always involved in change and leadership is a fundamental aspect of creating and sustaining change.  We have consortium members who specialize in executive coaching, organizational development and training.  We deliver results on projects and initiatives while attending to developing the owner’s resources. Once we have an understanding of the business we can help with broader organizational development improvements should there be such a need.

HUMAN COMMUNICATIONS & TEAMBUILDING

PerfOps typically operates within the context of one or more projects or business initiatives.  Typically there are cross-functional teams involved and usually specialty contractors or other service parties working together to achieve the desired results.  PerfOps has methods for helping teams and individuals to understand their communication patterns and styles and for improving them.

RESOURCING FOR SYSTEMS & OPERATIONS

PerfOps frequently identifies missing resources needed to implement or sustain projects or initiatives.  This puts us in the position to better understand the requirements and help close such gaps.  We are skilled at finding the right talent to fit the project or initiative and can work with your HR team, recruiter or, if we understand the company culture, then we can lead the search ourselves.  Additionally we have relationships with some of the best specialty recruiters in the business and can make the appropriate introductions and connections to best serve your needs. We have standardized methods for interviewing and prioritize culture fit and proficiency.

Talking to us about your organizational needs will be of benefit when working to apply new technology or improve operations.

  • Our professionals work together because they prefer to and not because they happen to be employed by the same firm. PerfOps is a principled organization and our team members meet a high level of standards.

  • While our teams focus on each project’s goals, our team members must also demonstrate a commitment to achieving long-term results for clients beyond each project’s specific scope.

  • The PerfOps consortium is comprised of highly experienced individuals. Most team members exceed 10 years of continuous skills development in their chosen areas of work.

Solutions are the sum of People + Process + Technology. Any combination of these not in balance leads to sub-optimal results at best.  PerfOps’ methods have been optimized in this regard with the objective of leaving the client team better prepared to maintain and improve the solution for the long term.
